July is flying by

They say time flys when you are having fun, we must all be having a blast! It's not quiet August but we are working diligently on our September newsletter and events, and the excitement is building. There are many wonderful happenings coming in August, so be sure to go online to our website and check out our Rose Institute calendar, our activities calendar, and our outings and entertainment line-up.

We have openings in our Adult Day Center if you are looking to take a break from parent-sitting, and our various home health offices will be glad to make an appointment with you to plan for more help at home.

In August, we have a special Scholar on Campus Elderhostel Instructor coming! Ed Stein, a designer of New York Times Crossword Puzzles and Expert puzzle solver is coming to unravel the secrets of even the most challenging crossword puzzles. Learn strategies from a veteran solver and designer, and get practical quick tools to sharpen your own skills. Monday, August 4th, at 7:30 p.m., and Tuesday August 5th, at 10:30 a.m., you cam hear all the tricks. Please RSVP! 216-831-5452, ext. 244.

Congrats Harriet!

Harriet Kay, resident artist here at Menorah Park Center for Senior Living, will have artwork on display at the AJAS annual conference in Washington! Her two paintings, both beautiful flowers, will grace the walls for all to see. Congrats, Harriet! Keep painting!

Menorah Park Campus is abuzz with talk about the beautiful treat of high temps and sunshine today, don't forget to get out and get a little sun on your face, it's a beautiful day! Go sightseeing on campus to see the art, gardens, and residents!

We're in the news!

It's great that the media has realized what a wonderful resource Menorah Park Center for Senior Living can be. We recently received media coverage featuring our wonderful Wii playing seniors, and it was fantastic to see them having so much fun. We were also featured in a special segment on Fox 19 in Cleveland regarding our energetic seniors a an icebreaking cologne :) Keep watching, you'll see more of us soon!

The pool at the Peter B. Lewis Aquuatic & Therapy Center is warm and inviting. It's great to see so many people reaping such therapeutic rewards from their hydratherapy, while visiting with friends, chatting, and ignoring the cold, cold winter snow that swirls and drifts outside.
